MocsNet - How to Delete Email
By default the Delete button on the server does not delete the email from the server. It puts a delete mark 
next to the message. The message is only removed from your mailbox when you purge it. You can undelete messages that have not been purged. (These deleted emails do take up server space until you purge the messages.) You can set up preferences to purge messages immediately.
- Select the message and click the delete button or
- Open the message and click the Delete icon.
To purge message(s) from the server.
- Select the message and click on the Purge button or

To purge all deleted messages click on the Purge All button.
Set up email to Purge messages immediately when Delete.
- Click on Options.
- Go to the Mailbox Management tab.
- Under Mailbox Settings select Yes to Immediate Purge of Deleted Message.
- Be sure to Save the settings before closing.
- Log out and then log back in to see the change.
