Student can access their files using Google Docs. Google Docs is part of the Mocs Mail+ system. You can access these files by visiting Mocsnet and then clicking on Mocs Mail+. You will then click on Documents located at the top.
Faculty and Staff can follow the directions below to access their files.
How to Connect to Your Files from Off Campus

Step By Step (Screenshots)
1. Click on Start

2. Click on Computer

3. Click on Map Network Drive
4. Select Drive Z: if it is available. Type in the folder text box with the following: https://files.utc.edu/webdav/UTCID
(*Substitute UTCID with your actual utcID) and don't forget the (s) after http.
5. Click Finish and you will be prompted to Authenticate login with utc\UTCID as your username and type in your password associated with your UTCID (click OK)
6. You should now see a list of your files and folders. Congrats you have successfully setup your webdav connection to your personal space. To access your files from here on out click on the Z: drive under my computer.
Windows 7 (Dept Share - S: Drive)

Step By Step (Screenshots)
1. Click on Start

3. Click Here to find out what shared folder you should access
You will login using UTC\UTCID and the password associated with your UTCID
Identify which shared volume you need to access and note the folder (ie. Shared6 or Shared1, etc)
Continue…
4. Click on Map Network Drive
5. Select Drive Y:. Type in the folder text box with the following: https://files.utc.edu/shared/SHARED1-6 (where it says Shared1-6 plug in the information you found in step 4.
(**don’t forget the (s) after http)
6. Click Finish and you will be prompted to Authenticate login with utc\UTCID as your username and type in your password associated with your UTCID (click OK)
7. You should now see a list of your files and folders. Congrats you have successfully setup your webdav connection to your personal space. To access the files going forward just click on the Y: Drive located under my computer.
Windows XP (Personal Share - P: Drive)
1. Double Click on My Network Places on the desktop

2. Click Add a network place located on left side navigation bar

3. Click Next
4. Click Choose another network location Specify the address of a Web site, network location, or FTP site. and click Next
5. Type the following address to access personal files:
https://files.utc.edu/webdav/UTCID (replacing UTCID with your ID) and click Next.

7. Login with UTC\UTCID (again replacing UTCID with your ID) and password associated with that ID and click OK

7. Click Next and Finish.
8. Congrats you should now see your personal files and folders.
Windows XP (Dept Share - S: Drive)
1. Double Click on My Network Places on the desktop
2. Click Add a network place located on left side navigation bar

3. Click Next

6. Type the following address to access departmental share: https://files.utc.edu/shared/shared1-6 and click Next. (Please note where it says shared1-6, plug in the shared drive your stuff is located in from step 5 above (ie. Shared1 or shared2, etc). So if it was shared1 you would type https://files.utc.edu/shared/shared1
7. Login with UTC\UTCID and password associated with that ID and click OK

8. Click Next and Finish.
9. Congrats you should now see your shared files and folders.
Connect to Other Department Folders (O: Drive)
Follow the same directions for Shared Drive but change the shared drive location based on where that department is located.

You can map however directly to https://files.utc.edu/shared to get a full list of the shared volumes.
Macintosh Mappings
In the Finder, click on Go> Connect to Server>
To connect to personal files (also known as P: drive):
In the server address box, type https://files.utc.edu/webdav/[utcid] (for example https://files.utc.edu/webdav/abc123). Before you click Connect, click on the + to save the path to the server list. Click connect and enter the following login information:
Login: UTC\utcid
Password: same as UTC email
To map your department share (also known as S: drive)
First, determine on which volume your department's shared files are located by visiting this page:
In the server address box, type https://files.utc.edu/shared/[shared#] (for example https://files.utc.edu/shared/shared1). Before you click Connect, click on the + to save the path to the server list. Click connect and enter the following login information:
Login: UTC\utcid
Password: same as UTC email
*Drag the department share folder, the user folder, and any other shares from within the mapped drives to the sidebar under Places to create aliases (i.e., DeptName, user’s UTCID).
