My Files: Webpage
My Files gives you access to upload files to maintain your own web page. These files must be stored in the "public_html" folder to be viewed. The main page of your web site will need to be named "index.htm" or "index.html", and any associated graphics will need to be uploaded into the "public_html" folder.
- Login to MocsNet
- Click on MyFiles
- Click on folder titled Home@ONENET
- Click on the folder titled public_html
- Click File
- Click Upload
- Find and select index.html file you've created
- To view site: go to www.UTC.edu/firstname-lastname or go to My Webpage
Things to Remember:
- You must have a webpage named "index.htm"
- Your web pages will need to have a .htm or .html extension to be viewable by a web browser.
- You must adhere to the Acceptable Use Policy.
- When publishing web pages be sure to consult the Web Page Policies.
- When editing and updating your web page you can view your web pages by clicking on the "My WebPage" button at the left side of the screen.
