Setting Up Entourage for Secure Email

  1. Go to Entourage menu and click on Account Settings.
  2. Choose to set it up manually from the Account Setup Assistant
  3. In the Accounts window select New.

  4. Select the Account type: POP or IMAP.
  5. For the Receiving Mail server:
    • POP Server: mail.utc.edu
    • IMAP Server: mail.utc.edu
  6. For the Sending Mail server: SMTP mail.utc.edu
  7. POP: Change the Receiving mail settings. The POP server is mail.utc.edu and click on the "Click here for advanced receiving options." POP port: 995.

    8. IMAP: Change he Receiving mail settings. The IMAP server is mail.utc.edu and click on the "Click here for advanced receiving options." IMAP port: 993.
  8. Change the SMTP server to mail.utc.edu and click on the button under the SMTP server settings.
  9. Check all the checkboxes. SMTP requires SSL, Port is 465 amd SMTP requires authenitcation. Check "Use same settings as receiving server."
