Creating Contacts and Distribution Lists in Outlook
- Go to the Contacts window in Outlook by selecting contacts from the list.
- Click on the new button or go to File -> New -> Contact.
- Fill in the fields. Full name and E-mail address required. Select Save and Close.
Distribution List
When creating a distribution list you can select members from your contacts list or you can add in new addresses. When adding in a new e-mail address you have the option to add that e-mail to your contacts.
- Click on the little arrow beside new to bring down the drop box or go to File-> New -> Distribution List.
- To select members from your contacts click on the Select Members... button. To Add a new e-mail address click on the Add New... button. Give the distribution list a name in the Name field.

- If adding a new e-mail address, fill in the Display Name and E-mail address. To save this e-mail to your contacts list check the box Add to Contacts.
- After selecting and adding new members, Save and Close the distribution window.
